Sensei and mamasan watching kendo fight in Kyan
between Harry G. Smith and Art Smiley.
Mamasan had a word she used to call Art and myself, sounded like
'bakatardi', certainly not spelled right but it was supposed to mean
'crazy'. She enjoyed the full contact sparring which few students
did.
After this kind of fight the wine flowed pretty
freely.
