TAIRAGAWA DEMO 1957
My friend Art Smiley at an outside demo.
It was Art who introduced me to Sensei. The photos
at this site and in my albums are a result of a joint deal regarding
costs and development between Art and me. Without Art there
probably never would have been photos but by the same token he could
never had afforded the material and developing and film alone.
Art actually got the photography bug while on
Okinawa. He waited tables until he joined the service. You could say
that Okinawa gave us both a calling, him to photography, me to
karate.
